What Is The Most Painful Nerf Gun
When we talk about toy guns or blasters, the first thing that comes to our mind would probably be Nerf! Yes, I’m sure this is nothing new to anyone who has window-shopped in Toys R Us before. Every time you pass by the Nerf Section as you see all the Nerf Blasters being displayed, don’t you just wish you could grab hold on one? Well, unless you’re financially capable, chances are your mom wouldn’t allow it, even if you begged. Ouchh!!
But let’s say you are financially ready and you are able to afford a Nerf Blaster. Surely you wouldn’t want to just choose any blaster right? But how do you decide when there are so many varieties from Disks to Darts to Balls, the possibilities are just limitless.
Hence, as an adult and a collector myself, chances are that I would be looking for something unique and packs a higher power compared to the rest. In short, I want something that I can show off to my friends and may potentially consider hurting them (joke intended).
But well putting that aside, choosing a Nerf Gun should be rather important to you, if not why are you still here reading? I doubt you have anything else to do and are just wandering around different information sites. Well, if you’re wondering about what the most painful Nerf Guns there are out there as well, then you’ve come to the right place.
Without further ado, let’s dive straight into it!
Nerf Rival Zeus MXV 1200
If you’ve paid attention to recent years, you’ve definitely seen this before. The Nerf Rival Zeus MXV 1200 comes in two different colors, mainly red and Blue to assist in team differentiation. It is highly demanded at that time as foam balls were rather unique back then.
The Nerf Rival Zeus MXV 1200 is motorized. This means that it is able to rapidly fire its ammo in a short time. As a matter of fact, it’s so powerful that if it hits your eye, it could shoot your eyes out and I mean literally. If you’ve seen it on hand before, you’d realize that this foam Nerf ammo isn’t as soft as u think they are. It is also shaped as the size of a golf ball. To make matters worse, it fires at a rate of 100 meters per second and that could be very painful if shot on bare skin.
In some youtube videos, YouTubers have tried the Nerf Rival Zeus MXV 1200 on themselves and the outcome did not look good. When shot at a range of 5 meters, that were red marks on the YouTuber’s back, and when shot at point-blank, you know the outcome. He suffered from severe bruising. It is very dangerous to use this Nerf gun without the appropriate equipment but what must be prepared is a set of protective goggles.
Nerf N-Strike Elite HyperFire Blaster
This is one other nerf gun to be feared as well. The Nerf N-Strike Elite HyperFire Blaster is another monster that would probably bruise you like mad. It has a 25-dart drum magazine capacity and is motorized. Yes! Another motorized Nerf Gun. At this point, as long if it’s motorized it’s never a good sign
It is able to fire at 90 feet away in a full auto action. Imagine playing in a Nerf battlefield and encountering one of these. You might want to hide as these darts will be straight up ramming towards you. To make matters worse, The Nerf N-Strike Elite HyperFire Blaster is one of the Elite Collection. This means that it is able to fire further and is more powerful than other normal Nerf guns.
Though some argue that it isn’t as painful as it seems, imagine getting rammed countlessly during hailstorms. Even if it didn’t hurt much, It’ll still be pretty annoying to face. Not to mention, it shoots out normal darts in the shape of a cylinder. This allows the dart to be shot faster and further!
Nerf Rival Prometheus MXVIII – 20K
If the previous two sound scary enough, it’s now the time to turn back. The Nerf Rival Prometheus MXVIII-20k is one of the largest and highest capacity Nerf Rival there is in existence. It has a capacity of 200 foam ball ammunition that can be rapidly fired at 3 shots per second.
This gun is also pretty heavy, which means that it is impossible to hold it with just one arm. Remember Nerf Rival Zeus MXV 1200? Yeah, if it were to face this monster, it’ll be comparing a leatherback sea turtle to a tortoise.
As for this one, it is highly recommended that you refrain from shooting anyone at point-blank range. Some people who’ve experienced its wrath described it as being hit by normal airsoft bullets. Just in case anyone doesn’t know what airsoft is, all you have to know is that it’s very very painful.
The Nerf Rival Prometheus MXVIII-20k has its own special battery and charger provided. If used constantly it can withhold up to 2 hours straight. As for this one, the only advice I can give you is to run away from it and don’t shoot your friends and family, especially towards exposed skin areas.
If I were to rate the most painful one, the Nerf Rival Prometheus MXVIII – 20K is definitely the king of it all. The amount of power that it is able to exert is plain ridiculous and shouldn’t be equipped on a Nerf Gun. Thankfully Nerf has taken this into consideration as well and has attached a Trigger lock on it to prevent accidental misfires.
Despite that being said, this is still just an opinion. You may not think the same as I do or maybe you might even think that other blasters that are not mentioned in the list are more painful. But do bear in mind as they all share one thing in common. They are fast, hard and painful, and should not be taken lightly at all. Buy it only at your own risk.
